Driving Forward: Team 163 Honoring Kat’s Legacy at the 2025 Rebelle Rally
The spirit of motorsports isn't just about speed and precision; it's about resilience, community, and the unyielding drive to overcome every challenge. This year, as the Rebelle Rally celebrated its incredible 10th anniversary, we were immensely proud to play a part in the journeys of several remarkable teams.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of donors to the Drive on Kat Fund, we were able to provide crucial support, empowering teams to chase their dreams and honor a truly inspiring legacy. The "Drive on Kat" fund was established to celebrate the indelible spirit of Kat, a beacon of strength, determination, and grit within the motorsports community. Through this fund, we aim to ensure that her passion continues to fuel new adventures and empower those who embody her unwavering drive.
Today, we're thrilled to shine a spotlight on one such team: Team 163, "Ultimate Rebellion," comprised of the formidable duo Lisa DeLuca and Brittony Marenco.
Lisa and Brittony tackled the grueling demands of the Rebelle Rally, an all-women's off-road navigation competition, with a profound sense of purpose. Beyond the compass and maps, they carried something even more significant: the legacy of Kat. Their journey truly embodies what "Drive on Kat" stands for.
Here’s what Lisa and Brittony shared with us after conquering the desert:
"Carrying her [Kat’s] legacy with us throughout the rally meant a great deal. The Rebelle is demanding in every possible way; physically, mentally, and emotionally. Each time we were pushed to our limits, we reminded ourselves that we were representing not only our team, but also Kat’s strength, determination, and drive. It grounded us, and it motivated us to carry ourselves with resilience, integrity, and positivity, no matter the challenges we faced."
